About the Event
Classes are held from 9-1 each day. Cost is $50/ day. Every student needs to bring a re-usable water bottle and a lunch. It is July so please dress in clothing that will be cool and comfortable. Hats are recommended. We will be using basic tools from the Wilderness Warriors survival kit (kits are for purchase for $50).
Day 1: Shelter Day
Campers will learn how to design and build safe, weather-ready shelters using natural materials found in the environment. Through hands-on teamwork, they’ll explore different shelter types, practice site selection, and test their designs against real-world challenges like rain, wind, and heat. This class builds problem-solving skills, confidence, and cooperation. By the end of the day, campers will have constructed a functional shelter and gained a deeper respect for the natural world.
